3 tier-1s now support monitoring from the mirror location

Displayed at CES in January were details of the Gentex DMS/OMS mirror. There are now three suppliers providing in-cabin monitoring from the mirror location (Gentex, Magna, Valeo) each with a vastly different product strategy from the other. In automotive, three is always the magic number of suppliers to give OEMs the chance to obtain competitive quotes. Thus in-cabin monitoring designs using the mirror location now look set to proliferate. Here we get eyes on the Gentex offering.
