Mobileye’s success in automotive driver monitoring systems continues apace, with the announcement of a major production program with a leading U.S. automaker. This follows the inaugural Mobileye win at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. announced in February for both driver and occupant monitoring.
Mobileye highlights a key point in its PR, that: “these programs reflect growing OEM demand for the consolidation of driver monitoring, occupant safety, and advanced driving functions – eliminating the cost and complexity of a separate DMS ECU.”
