Gentex Monitoring Mirror at SoP

The first program for the Gentex driver and occupant monitoring mirror started production a couple of months ago.

2025 has seen accelerated developments for driver and occupant monitoring from the mirror location. Valeo has its first program in production with BMW in the 2026 iX3, while Magna has ramped up marketing activities for its driver and occupant monitoring mirror developed in partnership with Seeing Machines. This included a joint presentation alongside Volkswagen at InCabin Barcelona at the start of October.
